From Childhood Inspiration to Industry Leader
Global Transport Solutions (GTS) was founded in November 2021 by Owner/CEO Tia S. McNeil in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tia’s passion for logistics and transportation started at a young age, influenced by her grandfather, a dedicated trucker. During summers, he would take her along on his daily routes, unknowingly shaping the blueprint for her future in the industry.
Decades later, a simple favor changed everything. A friend asked Tia to transport tile from Philadelphia to Baltimore, a task that came with unexpected challenges. After renting a box truck for $400 for just one day, she quickly realized the cost inefficiencies of outsourcing transportation. This moment sparked an idea—why not start her own trucking company? Determined to create a more cost-effective solution, Tia purchased her first box truck and immediately hit the ground running.
